The drinks prepared by Emeralda

edit

In episode 7, Emi receives a package from Emeralda containing bottles labeled "Holyvitan β". Emi calls Emeralda and asks what it is. Emeralda says "It's celestial force!" (meaning the kind of magic usable by angels, priests, and such), and then she says "I processed it into a form that wouldn't seem out of the ordinary in Japan!".

KirtZJ (talk · contribs) wants to describe this drink as "magic enhancing" or "magic bolstering". However, I see that as a misleading description. The drink conveys a specific amount of celestial force to those who are able to use it. So it would not enhance the magic of a demon (indeed it might poison him). Nor does it merely amplify the magic already in a person, because Emi should be able to use it even if her reserves of celestial force have been completely exhausted. There is absolutely no need to start a discussion for something as miniscule as this. I'll leave it as a Sacred Power Boosting/Enhancing Drink until confirmation from the Light Novels on its actual name can be attained. Don't forget, this is a short anime series with no current mention of a Season 2, hence some facts may be changed by the writers to suit the short anime series. <KirtZJ>Talk
