Talk:List of Tau Kappa Epsilon members/Archive 1

Necessary?

I don't believe this was necessary. The list was not that long to mess the page up on the main article. This just complicates things on preventing vandalism. After checking many other fraternity pages, there are only one or two that have used this. The rest kept the same form of listing them under categories. This just complicates things, as stated before. Not to mention the article should have been named "List of Tau Kappa Epsilon Alumni" Brothers is too broad and opens the chance of vandalism. The article can easily be renamed if need be, but I named it like this for now to follow the example of the featured list List of Alpha Phi Alpha brothers, as I hope to expand and improve this list up to the same level. If this doesn't work out, then the list can be re-inserted back into the main article and this one can be redirected there. For now, however, I'd like to be bold and try to make the list a great article of its own. --CrazyLegsKC 03:04, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
  • There's a lot more than one or two that have taken this format. I welcome the change. BlueGold73 (talk) 03:46, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
Sorry for the 'calling out' so to speak then. I did look around and just noticed a slight increase of vandalism whenever this is done. But now that this is being further edited by CrazyLegsKC, I can see it was a good idea. I just suppose I will put this on 'watch' to monitor it as I do on the main page. And BTW, good job so far.
