Star Wars Rebels Season 2 confirmed to be 22 episodes long in production code history

Season 2 is confirmed to be 22 episodes long, which includes Siege of Lothal, according to Pablo Hidalgo. Here's the link for proof and confirmation: https://www.facebook.com/infinata/posts/10153037474037085 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.109.138.19 (talk)

I want to change that spark of rebellion counts as two episodes instead of a movie. Spark of Rebellion counts as two episodes in the blu-ray and DVD as well as on netflix. so it should also count as two episodes here

Not done We are going off the official Star Wars website which lists Spark of Rebellion as separate from the first season. - adamstom97 (talk) 02:22, 14 November 2015 (UTC)
It seems that in this edit (March 2016), someone did such an edit anyway. Right or wrong? Should either way be addressed on this talk page, and probably better sourced (when was starwars.com found to say that?). 78.73.97.76 (talk) 20:53, 2 August 2016 (UTC)

Question

Are any sources considering "The Siege of Lothal" parts 1 and 2 as a separate film? (akin to "Spark of Rebellion") The sites where I download season 2 episodes don't count "Spark..." in the numbering scheme. In other words, tonight's episode is listed as #10 here on WP, but is only listed as #8 on the torrent sites. I'm just wondering if there's a reason for that. - theWOLFchild 06:41, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Yep, as was answered to a similar question above you about episode numbering, they're taken from the official Star Wars website. If you've got issues with the numbering system, take it up with Lucasfilm. ~ Brother William (talk) 04:00, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
@Brother William: - The post above has nothing to do with mine. I was just asking a simple question, so relax and can the attitude. I don't have any "issues" with the numbering... again, just questions. Perhaps you should keep your assumptions in check and re-read the question. - theWOLFchild 10:37, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
Dude, is think you're the one who needs to chill. I read no hostility towards you at all in William's response, just a little breezy flippancy among peers. Take a deep breath, man. oknazevad (talk) 17:12, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
I didn't say he was being "hostile" or needed to "chill". I was addressing the erroneous, off-topic claims he made, and suggested he adjust his attitude... as I'm now suggesting to you as well, ok "dude"? My breathing is just fine, maybe you should worry about yourself, "man". I asked a simple question, if you don't know the answer, go bother someone else, mm-kay? - theWOLFchild 07:30, 17 December 2015 (UTC)

Episode 2 list is incorrect

Pretty sure the list here is wrong according to this this Gymnophoria (talk) 20:51, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

They aren't counting "Seige of Lothal" as an episode of season 2, but starwars.com calls it the first two episodes of the season, which is how we're listing it. oknazevad (talk) 22:16, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Season 1 production codes

What's the source for the season 1 production codes? They're off by one compared to what's listed on Disney XD Press and The Futon Critic. It also counts "Spark of Rebellion" as 101/102 rather than 102/103. nyuszika7h (talk) 18:49, 26 February 2016 (UTC)

Guest Stars on Episode descriptions

I feel that the usage on certain actors being listed under Guest Star's in the episode description feels misleading and inaccurate in my opinion.

Okay let me be black and white about this on the usage of "Guest Star" whether its an animated show and especially a Live-action show. Just because an actor/actress that isn't part of the main cast and listed as a recurring or supporting role doesn't necessarily mean that they are considered a "Guest Star". Honestly, I feel that their is no need to add anyone that isn't part of the main cast as a "Guest Star", because honestly it clearly feels odd just to list someone in a semi-regular or recurring/supporting role be listed under "Guest Star", not to mention most if not all of the episode pages on wikipedia rarely list "Guest Stars" on the episode descriptions, unless if that particular "Guest Star" was mentioned in a Press release, News article, or an Episode description press release--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 23:22, 18 February 2017 (UTC)

As this starred on my talk page I'll just copy over what I wrote there. Recurring characters are an interesting issue, because they are semi-regular by definition. That said, what differentiates Sarah Michelle Gellar, who was arecurring Gillian in season 2 and appeared multiple times, and Ashley Eckstein, who had the recurring role of Ahsoka in season 2 and appeared roughly the same number of times? Both were established actresses before their Star Wars involvement. So why would Glar be listed as a guest star and Eckstein not? That's my issue with removal. To that I'll add that the only source needed to list a credited guest star is the credits of the episode itself. oknazevad (talk) 23:40, 18 February 2017 (UTC)
Frankly their is no mentioning of Guest Starring "X actor" or "Y actor" in the credits of each episode, heck even The Clone Wars never mentioned "guest starring" at the end of every episode and I feel that the Guest Stars list is very, very, very irrelevant to be honest!!!
At the same time, I do feel it doesn't make sense just listing an actor/actress that is in a semi-regular and recurring/supporting role as guest stars (e.g. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ashley Eckstein, Dee Bradley Baker), since more often it can be misleading and inaccurate to most people. It also applies to ANY show in general (animation and live-action) not just Rebels.--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 02:52, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
All I am saying that their is no need to add them, if none of the Episode descriptions on several different shows seldom list the Guest Stars page!!!!Say whatever you want if you want them to be on the list but enough is enough of you justifying yourself on having the "Guest Stars" be kept in the Rebeles episode descriptions--AnimeDisneylover95 (talk) 18:55, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
