I have put a "sources" tag on this page because (a) it needs a reference for this list (b) the external link given at SSSI#External_links for Welsh SSSIs is no longer working and (c) if there was a list, it would be easier to start afterfresh with an English language list rather than replace all the Welsh language terms that have been unnecessarily included in wikilinks, e.g. "glannau" (shores/banks) and also the Welsh language names for locations (e.g. I changed Biwmares to Beaumaris, but there are others). Changing them from where we are now would require a lot of work in translating and re-ordering the list. Bencherlite 16:58, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Needs new source so that list can be redone - at present, loads of redlinked Welsh names and terms, which may/may not have articles under a related English heading, but impossible to work from this. Easier to start again with English language list. Bencherlite 22:28, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
