Sorry if someone disagrees, but I am adding an early entry about the six real Funeral Wreaths. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.74.96.127 (talk) 23:11, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yuni vs Uni

edit

CrunchyRoll, who subtitles the anime episodes, spells the character's name as Yuni. However, in Chapter 260 of the manga, a two page spread with all the characters shows her name written as Uni in English.

First, d-rights, an official Japanese company, is the subber. They are both legit and will remain as Uni for now until the English versions come out. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 22:14, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure about Crunchyroll's subs, but Fran is how "Flan"'s name is spelled in that same spread, and also in anime merchandise. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.253.183.13 (talk) 11:57, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Isn't Crunchyroll offical? They spell it as Yuni. So, unless you have a Viz translation that states its Uni, I suggets you go with whats offical. Btw, one of your references state: "Note: Crunchyroll, an official distributor of subbed episodes for the Reborn! anime, spells it as "Uni"." That is completely wrong. Its Ref no 34. 112.135.81.24 (talk) 12:36, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Most of your references are screwed. Fran is spelled "Fran" in Crunchyroll, yet your ref states that Crunchyroll spells it as Flan. Doesn't that warrnet a name change too? and btw, doesn't anyone check these references for validity? 112.135.81.24 (talk) 15:21, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Just a small note. The Reborn Wikia spells them as Yuni and Fran] as well. 112.135.81.24 (talk) 15:45, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
The Reborn wikia is not a site to follow as it's cleary not a WP:Reliable source and looks more like a fansite like all wikia.Tintor2 (talk) 19:29, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'd like to point out that the most recent episode (190) spells it as Flan. Uni has been changed to Yuni so that can be fixed. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 19:39, 19 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'll take the Flan thing, but why has Yuni been changed back to Uni?112.135.94.226 (talk) 06:59, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Actually the Reborn Wikia has strict policies against all info. No fan info/theories allowed. Only things that have been cited in an offical source are allowed, and this extends to pictures as well. So they are kinda reliable on that front.112.135.94.226 (talk) 07:01, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Like this for example. Haha, I just found out they're having a debate about Yuni's name as well [1]. I go there for info concerning the series, so I guess I have to kind of stick up for them.112.135.94.226 (talk) 07:11, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Just because they have policies, it does not make it WP:Reliable source and so, shouldn't be used as an example. Besides the overuse of non-free images, very long plot summaries, analysis of relationships, height, weight, makes the wikia more aimed at fans of the series.Tintor2 (talk) 03:15, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Please check the time of the history and time of the post before asking "Why" it was reverted. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 07:31, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I did, all it says is "rv, consensus is done after a lengthy talk with more than two comments, and wikias are not what should we follow" I'm simply askin why not follow the offical subber i.e CrunchyRoll, instead of a fan translated manga. And your above comment states "Uni has been changed to Yuni so that can be fixed" That implies you agree that the name is infact Yuni, but you changed it back to Uni. I dont get your edits at all112.135.80.178 (talk) 10:12, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I meant the time, that edit was done before the discussion. We are not following the fan translated manga. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 19:17, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
So then can I, or someone change it back to Yuni?112.135.65.173 (talk) 21:24, 20 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Go ahead. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 01:35, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thanx, and done 112.135.65.173 (talk) 02:59, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I was wondering if Series Albums are considered Cannon. Cause all the albums released, like the latest one Rivale - Blue, names Flan as Fran112.135.85.97 (talk) 06:17, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Source. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 09:20, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Well, check the album covers. here's a link for the cover anyway http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100816150218/reborn/images/b/be/Special_Illusion.jpg 112.135.65.172 (talk) 03:06, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Change it to Fran then, seeing as this is the spelling the author wants. DragonZero (talk · contribs) 05:03, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Shimon Family

edit

So with the release of the new chapter, it's pretty much been cemented the Shimon Family are the antagonists for the Inheritance Arc, so should we probably add a section for them? SandSan (talk) 03:52, 3 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
