Wootan Tribe edit

A lost village, the Wootan Tribe Village Umbala is located to the north of Comodo. Home of the self-denominated Wootan tribe. It was added to iRO in November 2004. Features bungee jumping, which could bring the player to Nifflheim. An alternative route to Nifflheim is through the cave, where tree monsters and hostile Wootans reside (see below).... I thought there was only one route?!Lego3400: The Sage of Time 22:15, 11 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lie-hhalt-sen. ("hh" as in German "ch")—ウルタプ 02:19, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
uhh, you mean Lie-chalt-sen, sir? How about Lighthal? I just need to know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 210.213.84.224 (talk)
Well, you know, "ch" in German is sort of throatier...but yeah, to the effect of "lie-halt-sen."—ウルタプ 04:03, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

so it's lie-halt-sen? not lie-chalt-sen? correct me if I'm wrong I guess Lighthal then would be 'Lie-hal'. thanks.

Well, in German "ch" is pronounced as a harsher (sort of phlegmier) "h", which is why I was using it (since the Asian names imitate that "h") so yeah, close enough...—ウルタプ 04:31, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Al de Baran is part of the Schwartzvald Republic edit

In the game, I believe several NPC's comment that Al de Baran is part of the Republic. It is home to Kafra, a Republic corporation, and it also has clockwork technology - tech being more of the Republic's trademark in the RO world. Am I the only who might have caught this... just asking before really making an official challenge. ^_^

No, Al De Baran is the northernmost city of the Rune-Midgard Kingdom. The field just above it is the actual border post between the Kingdom and the Republic, as you can see here. This proximity to the more technically advanced Schwartzvald Republic has certainly a great influence on the town, though. Oh, and who told the Kafra Corporation wasn't from Rune Midgard? They're really not from the Republic, where the Limited Transport Agreement prevents them from providing teleport services in favor of the Airship network. DracoRPG 19:14, 3 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sir Windsor NPC edit

"Incidentally, the Lord Knight monster, Seyren Windsor, looks like an NPC in the Prontera Chivalry named Sir Windsor."

There's also an NPC in Morroc named Wikibene and an NPC in Nifelhiem with the swordwoman's name that's impossible to pronounce (The Egg Nog one). There might also be more, I think this part of the article should either be expanded or removed.

Fair use rationale for Image:Umstairs.jpg edit

Image:Umstairs.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:10, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

No Kunlun? edit

Isn't Kunlun one of the cities in the global project? I'm not sure because I haven't played in a while. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.224.43.78 (talk) 00:08, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's here as Gonryun (for some reason, iRO made the solitary choice of using a different Romanization of "Kunlun").—Loveはドコ? (talkcontribs) 00:53, 22 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
