Death of Carol Vitale

Her article says that her death was due to complications of lupus and scleroderma. However, her obituary at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=89245110" states something that I was aware of at the time of her death: her death was ruled a suicide, caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, not any medical condition.
