Syriac names of Assyrian settlements edit

I'm gradually posting onto Wikipedia articles on the various nineteenth-century dioceses of the Church of the East. These articles will include a topographical section, in which I will list the villages in each diocese in both English and Syriac. I have recently made a start with Shemsdin (East Syrian Ecclesiastical Province), which contains a table of the villages listed by Cutts in 1877. I've reproduced a few names in Syriac already, which will be useful for this article, and more will follow gradually. The Syriac names are sourced from Baaba's recent book (see References to my Shemsdin article).

I will follow up the Shemsdin list with a list of the Tergawar and Mergawar villages.
