Question edit

This page currently includes New York state legislators who (a) automatically forfeited their seats due to felony convictions; (b) were expelled from their seats by a vote of their peers; or (c) were censured.

The list does not include New York state legislators who (d) resigned from office in connection with pleas of guilty; (e) resigned from office to avoid disciplinary proceedings; or (f) were given admonishments or reprimands that did not use the word "censure". There are several legislators in these two categories. Category (d) includes: Nelson Castro (politician), Gloria Davis (politician), Carl Kruger, Gabriela Rosa, William Scarborough (politician), and Anthony Seminerio. Category (e) includes Dennis Gabryszak and Vito Lopez. Category (f) includes Micah Kellner (if memory serves), Steve McLaughlin, and Angela Wozniak. (See https://www.syracuse.com/news/2015/01/troubled_ny_politicians_a_list_of_arrests_scandals_misdeeds_and_controversies.html for reference.)

My question is: Should this list be expanded to include legislators in categories (d), (e), or (f)? SunCrow (talk) 18:46, 23 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
