Why does this page exist? Couldn't/shouldn't any relevant data be merged into List of proteins, perhaps as references straight into the source data? Given that it is in the Wikipedia namespace, linking to this page direct from articles seems to violate WP:SELFREF --Rogerb67 (talk) 13:49, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

WAY too big. edit
It is 454,679 bytes long, and Firefox crashes when I try to load it. Please consider splitting this article or just shorten it. Lamp301 (talk) 02:37, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
