Opening gambits

edit

Could anyone check when they stopped making opening gambits in the show? The version I own is pretty low quality VHS, sometimes there seems to be something missing to the beginning or end. Someone please check that Polemon (talk) 05:45, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Name that episode

edit

Would I by chance be lucky enough to have this wuestion read by a connesseur of McGyver TV series - what is the name of the episode McGyver enters the Death Vessel, meets his dead grandfather but makes his way out the vessel? Thanks a lot! Watcher.

I believe that one is 521: "Passages". When he gets thrown over a balcony, lands on a car, and is in a coma where he meets his parents. That's memory from a decade and a half ago, so not sure I'm right. But the 5th season DVD will be out soon enough to find out. Cburnett 04:37, 13 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
that is right. that is the episode! Dockofusa (talk) 16:51, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Bloopers/Trivia/Continuity Goofs

edit

I was thinking that we should include bloopers/trivia/continuity goofs about each eposide. For example, I was watching The Widowmaker today and noticed that in one part Pete says, "Hellen, Pete here. Call the DSX. Tell them Murdoc is alive." Of course, the real name of the agency was DXS, not DSX. Should this sort of information be included on this page or on a new page created for each episode? Theres already websites around which have complete listings of nit-picks for the show.. Not sure we need another one in the Wikipedia. Rockatteer 05:05, 23 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

well in some of the episodes it's different. Dockofusa (talk) 16:54, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Season One episode order

edit

It has been pointed out on that talk page of List of problems solved by MacGyver that the order of three of the season one episodes ("The Heist", "Trumbo's World", and "Last Stand" ) in that article is different from the order in this article. This article has The Heist as #105, Trumbo's World as #106, and Last Stand as #107, but List of problems solved by MacGyver has Trumbo's World as #105, Last Stand as #106, and The Heist as #107. The cbs.com website numbers those three episodes like List of problems solved by MacGyver but IMDB numbers the episodes in the same way as List of MacGyver episodes. Does anyone know which order is correct? Bláthnaid 19:12, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

On the DVD I own, the order of the episodes is "The Heist", "Trumbo's World", and "Last Stand". I know that IMDB shows the airdate of the episodes to confirm this as well, which would probably be most accurate (although the accuracy of IMDB is debatable). --Poet  Talk  22:35, 18 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

No no no! Richard Dean Anderson mentions in the end of "The Stringer" episode that that is the final episode! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.106.166.198 (talk) 22:47, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

YES!! I know that! The stringer episdode is the LAST espisode! 208.102.82.66 (talk) 21:54, 30 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

^ Except that's not the order they aired.... I don't know why he said that at the end of "stringer" when they were doing one more. Just think of "The Mountain" as a mini-movie before the two movies that come after the series... --108.220.252.57 (talk) 11:48, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
