What is the definition of "Left Front" here? CPI(ML) Red Star, for example, has some 91 candidates nationwide, but is generally in no alliance with CPI(M) etc. --Soman (talk) 11:14, 19 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Soman: I suppose with your editing experience you could propose maybe a new and better name for this list. I understand that such lists should exist only for pre-poll alliances that have been specifically announced by the parties together. @Dharmadhyaksha and Soman: I've been wondering about this for some time. I thought that maybe there was a new "Left Front" that existed on the national level (as opposed to the ones in Kerala, Maharashtra, Tripura and West Bengal). There is no formal alliance on national level, the various Left/Left Democratic Fronts are on state level. It is true that in Indian media the term 'Left Front' is sometimes used to denote a nation-level bloc, however. --Soman (talk) 01:41, 6 September 2019 (UTC)Reply
