Can you please help me understand what blank space you are talking about?--Dom497 (talk) 2:47 pm, Today (UTC−4)

In both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, the two images under the "Kings Island" heading appear on the right side of the screen with a large blank void in the center and left. If they are formatted side-by-side, the images can be seen on one row, along with the start of the Attractions table. What browser are you using? Mgrē@sŏn 19:30, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
Google Chrome. I know I'm going to sound stupid by saying this but I still don't really understand what your saying. Do you have a ImageShack/Flickr/any other photo sharing account that you can take a screenshot of your screen and post it on one of the sites so I can see a visual (I'm more a visual learner :P )--Dom497 (talk) 20:35, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
It's nothing to do with browsers, just screen resolution. Dom, if you hit the "restore down" button on your Google Chrome window and scale it down you will most likely get the same effect as what Mgreason is getting. Themeparkgc  Talk  23:53, 5 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

list integrity from the main page

edit

If this page is to replace the lists on the main page, then all the list information should be transferred from the main page before additions are made to it and the main page lists are deleted. Ill work on getting the lists so information isn't lost --Nickvet419 (talk) 14:50, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Here is my sandbox with the edits to this page User:Nickvet419/sandbox#List_of_Kings_Island_attractions. What was missing from this list on this page is 'year oppened', and 'discription'. Also some info was changed like 'model' which is specific to the manufacture. --Nickvet419 (talk) 16:32, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also what i have done is sectioned it off by attraction type, 'roller coaster' 'rides' 'attraction' 'shows'... Also added in Seasonal, 'Halloween haunt'. --Nickvet419 (talk) 16:35, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
could even break the 'rides' section down further into 'Family', 'Thrill' like the park template. --Nickvet419 (talk) 05:22, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
still need to add ref column amd alphabetise. Don't think height requirements are needed on the list.--Nickvet419 (talk) 16:38, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – Guess I'll be the first to weigh in... I like the way it is now. The list has a very clean look complete with a column full of references that your proposal is lacking. During its promotion to a Featured List, most major issues were dealt with (see the discussion here). The description column you want to move over cannot be justified without providing reliable sources to support each statement. Besides, it adds clutter. A better solution is to axe the description column and keep all significant, verifiable information instead in the main KI article, where it can exist in prose. --GoneIn60 (talk) 17:07, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
well, the way it is now. does not hardly reflects the main page list. The information in description field like former names and history is verifiable though past park maps and brochures and sources found on the Kings Island timeline it also includes the type of ride it is which is not the same as the manufacture/model which was significantly changed. --Nickvet419 (talk) 17:53, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I can see maybe cleaning up the "Type/Model" column and removing the height restrictions in favor of a description, but all descriptions would need to be brief – not 3-4 sentences like some of the entries currently have. Also, a lot of the information is still unsourced, even when you take the park's website, maps, and brochures into consideration. And finally, we need to be careful to avoid original research which can happen when attempting to interpret an image. The timeline you mentioned, by the way, is poorly referenced. That's actually a good example of what we don't want to happen to this list. --GoneIn60 (talk) 18:39, 14 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I would suggest Manufacture/model in the same column as they directly relate to each-other. Also adding back in the Year opened. The short description with the 'type' of ride and former names and parks should be covered by the ref link to rcdb and the main web page in the ref column. Any longer descriptions with extra material should be referenced which I believe most are on the main page. Also think we should add in the seasonal and show lists here as they are attractions at the park. That would clear up all the tables on the main page and make the actual lists more useful than just going to the ki website. Most of this is already done in my sandbox. --Nickvet419 (talk) 04:42, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
I think there is also the option of adding in a picture of the attraction like i did here User:Nickvet419/sandbox#Attractions or in its own column like Cedar_Point#Roller_coasters. --Nickvet419 (talk) 05:16, 15 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Other sections will not split from dropdown

edit

I’m not a guru at editing on here but if anyone can find a way to separate the different sections like “Notes” and “References” from the attractions/Kings Island dropdown menu that would be great. I was unable to figure it out myself and tried several different things. It views fine on computer just on phone it doesn’t work correctly. Eg224 (talk) 02:00, 16 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
