Inaccurate descriptions and probable copyright issue edit

One of the episode descriptions reads as follows:

Mike prepares to confront Jionni; Deena and Snooki go fishing on a boat, and try to survive a near-death experience by a shark attack; Snooki buys a mini-bike for Ronnie; JWoww confronts Pauly's stalker; Snooki and Vinny may have a relationship when they spend a night together drinking.

This is the only episode description I read, but if it is indicative of the other episode descriptions, this page will require a major re-write.

What initially struck me was the inaccuracy of the shark description.

Having just watched the episode, I can say that Deena and Nicole did not go fishing on a boat. The whole gang was fishing and crabbing on a dock. Deena (if I recall correctly) goes and buys an inflatable boat, and although both Deena and Nicole get into the boat, they do no fishing therein. Rather, what they do is paddle around.

They also do not survive any near-death experience, nor do they come close to encountering a shark. Indeed, the water in which the two were boating was rather shallow. What actually happened was the boat was drifting toward something sharp, something that might have the potential to puncture the inflatable boat. The gang began yelling to the duo, "Sharp!" but Deena misheard this as a shark warning, and desperately tried to get out of the boat, causing the already-deflating boat to essentially capsize. Again, there was no shark, and neither Deena's nor Nicole's life was in any real danger.

Not only did it seem fishy (pun intended) that Wikipedia would have such a wildly inaccurate description, but the whole sentence seemed constructed as if to entice viewership of the episode instead of being constructed so as to give readers an encyclopedic description of what actually occurs during the episode. This led me to suspect that the sentence was not actually written by a Wikipedian, but was rather lifted from some other site, perhaps even MTV.com.

So, I did a Google search of "Deena and Snooki go fishing on a boat, and try to survive a near-death experience by a shark attack". I found a number of pages that had that verbatim inaccurate description, including this one at tv.com.

Again, I've not read any of the other episode descriptions, but I would not be surprised to learn that other episode descriptions in the article are also lifted from other pages or are even blatantly incorrect, as this one was. Thus, I encourage any Wikipedian fans of the show to go through this list and make the many necessary tweaks to bring this article in line with Wikipedia standards.
