Need Descriptions

I have no idea what these people are, there should be some descriptions by proffession (I.e. Military rank, profession, etc.). Thank you. -- 69.248.43.27 23:41, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

Point?

I don't understand what information this article gives us that isn't shown by Category:Iraqi people. Hence i had added a tag. AndrewRT 23:02, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Well every other nationality has a list. Why not tag List of Germans then? I will remove the tag. Pascal.Tesson 16:02, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Proposed addition to religious figures section

I recently finished the final touches on the Dawud al-Zahiri article. Considered that he was considered the head of Muslim religious knowledge in the Abbasid Empire during his life, I think it would be worth adding. MezzoMezzo (talk) 10:49, 13 March 2012 (UTC)

Clean-up

Removed names with no reference and no article - they are otherwise just names. Removed Blogspot references and references that were just pointers to the same article. Trimmed some of the descriptions - the detail was already in the article.

The references are still problematic - they are not selective for notability. There are not many names left that don't have an article - my advice is to just include those with articles which is supposed to be the case with lists anyway.Peter Rehse (talk) 06:38, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

After clean-up we are down to 10 non-article entries out of hundreds. I would like to just delete those and have the list adhere to Wikipedia MOS - ie. just names with own articles.Peter Rehse (talk) 05:06, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
