The character profiles

What can we do about the character profiles? The template boxes for each character are drifting down to the bottom and not staying in place. --KnowledgeLord 04:23, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Diego's Fur

Relatives?

Can someone confirm whether Diego and his pack (Ice Age 1) are relatives at all or not? Because, for me, only Diego's a lot like Soto physically but very different from Zeke, Oscar and Lenny. Maybe Soto and Diego were the only cats in the pack that are relatives (probably Brothers or maybe Soto is Diego's father since Diego's smaller and younger), but there were 5 cats in the pack, Soto says Roshan's father killed half their pack so they were other 5 (10 in total). So the only way they could've been relatives is that those 5 were Zeke's, Oscar's, and Lenny's relatives and that, for example, the correct scenario fo me would be that Soto were father of all four (Diego, Zeke, Lenny, and Oscar) but different mothers (that's four of the missing tigers, one very like Soto himself [that'd be Diego's mother])(that'd be Soto as a predominant male of the pack) and the 5th tiger could've been a relative of Soto's. Also, as we all saw in the deleted scenes, Soto thinks that only Diego's worthy and he's the only one who he can trust, so maybe Diego's mother was very important to Soto. Can we have some insight please into why our images keep on getting deleted? We have followed the guidelines to the best of our abilities with the tags and yet they are still not acceptable. Semi Protection of this page

I don't know how to do it, but can we maybe semi protect this page so that people aren't constantly vandalising the page. The last edit I had to revert someone put 'New Predicted Characters for Ice Age 3'.

Eddie's voice

When I put down the name "Eddie" here I was talking about the little shelled animal shown in the first film that jumped off of a small cliff to attempt to fly, not the opossum that was shown in the second film. Since he had only one line of dialogue, nobody is credited as his voice actor. Still, there are some users that don't know any better and have stated that the voice of this Eddie is Josh Peck. That's clearly wrong, as Peck would have been too young at the time the first film was made to sound like the voice heard, and because Eddie the Glyptodon (shelled animal) shares a name with Eddie the Opossum, most users automatically assume that Peck must have either voiced both or simply confuse the two characters for one single character. This has been going on for some time, and although I've put in an invisible warning to anyone wishing to try it, the warning goes unheeded and even deleted by some. So keep your eyes open for anyone that messes up that section and do your part to revert it, please. --KnowledgeLord (talk) 16:02, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Too Many Made-Up Ideas

We have a problem: people have been changing things around here in the worst way. The names of actors credited with voicing certain characters have been removed or replaced with erroneous names. The characters themselves have been tampered with, as people change certain details that are definitive canon with fancruft. There are a number of other troubles around here, but because there are too many to list without me losing my mind, I propose an idea: let's put the page under protection.

Ages

Sid

What is sid? There are three sources of what sid is on different pages.On a Paramylodon, one says sloth and another says a Megatherium.

How can Sid be a Megatherium, if he's smaller than Diego? Diego being a sabertooth tiger isn't even half the size of a Megatherium (which is approximately the size of current elephants)? Something's not right there. Removal of images

Hammersoft (talk · contribs) has recently removed the images from the article, citing WP:NFLISTS as the reasoning for their removal. I'm inclined to agree, as I don't see how the images add anything significant to our understanding of the characters. Scratte being in Ice Age 4

Scratte, the female saber-tooth squirrel in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, is returning for Ice Age: Continental Drift in 2012. In Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, I thought she was killed, and last year on the Wikipedia page List of Ice Age characters it said "Scratte "was" a saber-tooth squirrel", not "Scratte "is" a saber-tooth squirrel". However, I was surprised to see Karen Disher is going to reprise the role of Scratte. In fact, she did a great job with the character.
