Article title should be "Latin American Caudillos"
editThe article title needs editing to "Latin American Caudillos" from "Latin America Caudillos". Amuseclio (talk) 18:53, 19 March 2017 (UTC)Amuseclio, 19 March 2017
Descriptive paragraphs needed for caudillos, either by country or type of caudillo. .
editPerhaps editors who added the names to the list of caudillos could take on this task or series of tasks and add citations. I am working my way through the undifferentiated names of caudillos and putting their country designation in alphabetical order. I've also started a gallery of images of important caudillos. Fork
editWhy, just why is there two articles for the same identical subject? Bertdrunk (talk) 02:22, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
Merge articles?
editWhen I started working on the Caudillo article, which remains in need of help, I realized there was an existing article Latin America [sic] Caudillos. I had already started a section in the Caudillo article on Latin American caudillos and then added a see main to that section. Caudillos are known types of Latin American leaders, especially in the nineteenth century following independence. The Latin America Caudillo article had a long, random list of names, which I reorganized by country and alphabetized. I've been working on adding text about the most important figures in the various regions of Latin America. I think the two articles could be merged. An alternative is to move the text of Latin America Caudillos to the Caudillo article, but leave the list of caudillos and rename the article List of Latin American Caudillos. Migrated text to Caudillo
editI have migrated the text of this article to the article Caudillo, since page view statistics indicate a much greater readership there. The list of caudillos remains here. Amuseclio (talk) 16:19, 31 March 2017 (UTC)Amuseclio
