Translation? edit

Would it be possible to get a translation for ʻauana and kahiko? Neither word has its own article nor a wiktionary article. A web search does lead to pages where one could infer the meanings, but it would be nice to get someone from Hawaii to clarify what is mean specifically by these terms in this article. Done! Act 6, Session Laws of Hawaii 2015 (the act that made those two musical instruments official state symbols) defined ʻauana and kahiko, so I used those definitions and added a citation to the Act. Feel free to fix any mistakes I may have made or shoot me a message if this needs further information. --SirMontego 02:29, 7 November 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by SirMontego (talkcontribs)

"Official" State Colors edit

I removed the “Official State Colours” in the State Symbol section because there was no citation to that information and Chapter 5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, despite designating colors for each island (section 5-16.5, HRS), does not designate any official colors for the State of Hawaii as a whole. If anyone can find any official designation of Hawaii’s colors, please feel free to add the information back along with a citation. SirMontego (talk) 07:15, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
