Last sentence of section Unauthorized" states the following: 'semantically means "unauthorised"'. However it should be the following: ' semantically means "unauthenticated"'

Reasoning: The same sentence explains it. means that the user does not have a valid authentication. This means unauthenticated. Unauthorized would be 403. HTTP code naming is just confusing here.
