Grammar? edit

The grammar on this page is atrocious. TenPound Hammer, when you get to rewriting, please make sure the grammar is double checked and improved.

Rewriting? edit

Wow, is this page ever bloated. A lot of this stuff needs trimming. I'll get on it someday. TenPoundHammer 12:02, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Grandma? edit

Why is there no reference to Andy's mother on either this page or the supporting characters page? 216.15.61.107 00:33, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Grandma hasn't been seen for quite some time now. Have you checked the section about non-recurring characters? Spottedstripe 01:41, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Quincy edit

Is Quincy really a main character? I kinda think he's sorta minor, but that could just be my opinion. Spottedstripe 01:43, 10 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd say he's a main character, he appears about as often as the other family members do. Ten Pound Hammer(((Broken clamshellsOtter chirps))) 18:13, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Paige Fox.PNG edit

Image:Paige Fox.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have added a rationale. Anyone can review it and either improve or challenge it if they like. IANAL. Eluchil404 (talk) 09:01, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

I copied the rationale that I had used for page to this image of Jason and the other images of major characters used in this article. Again anyone is invited to review these claims. Eluchil404 (talk) 16:18, 3 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

An error on ifruit edit

The section discussing the iFruit computer was inaccurate as Andy's comment about turning back the clock was about time not the machine itself. Also the strip was to be a sort of homage to the late Steve Jobs. Ztyran (talk) 20:01, 20 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Peter edit

"Occasionally, his cap has an "H" instead of an "A", but only as a benchwarmer for the high school baseball team. " It would appear that the end of one sentence and the beginning of another might be missing.... PurpleChez (talk) 21:28, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Several missing details edit

I have a few FoxTrot books myself, and in one, Andy asks if Peter is busy with the computer, which he replies to be in the middle of an essay. After that, she sits at a table and directly says that she shouldn't have gotten addicted to Tetris, for Jason to respond saying he could talk to Marcus about lending her his Gameboy. Another example of the Gameboy in the series is when Jason and Marcus are spending Spring Break by doing several activities outside in one-panel daily strips, one of them playing a volleyball game in their sandbox on what looks to be a Gameboy Advance, implying that the two of them own that console. There are also a few missing characters on the page. The first two are unseen family relatives who are mentioned around christmas. Their names in the series are Auntie April and Aunt Gertrude. The next one is Barb, one of Roger's coworkers who appears several times in the series and talks several times with Roger about work. Another set of missing characters are the Fox Family's unnamed neighbors. A running gag is that due to the Fox children's activities, they barely speak to them. On one occasion, Jason says that he is doing something outside, and Andy tries to stop him saying that the neighbors are just starting to talk to them again. I hope that anyone who notices this edit takes these details into consideration. JH2006 (talk) 16:52, 14 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
