Issues
editThis article is outdated. The Eastern Washington Idaho synod has incorporated a couple churches in Oregon, and has changed its name to the Northwest Intermountain Synod. I don't have a map for it though. I'm just going to change the name so it is more accurate. 47.6.235.221 (talk) 20:30, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
Region 1 articles
editI created the Region 1 articles this evening. I used (ELCA) as a qualifier which may seem redundant. Some synods have very generic names and may have LCMS synods with very similar names. I did not mark any as stubs, I leave that up to Wikiproject folks who can better gauge than I. --Robbie Giles 06:52, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Maps
editI've added an overall map of regions and also a Region 1 map of synods (since that was the only region with articles for all synods). However I'm not sure I've broken up Washington correctly among the 3 synods in it. --Erp (talk) 04:58, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Noting a major restructuring
editLeaving a note for posterity that I will be merging the important content from the synod articles into this article over the next week or so. I'm planning on restructuring the article to include an overview of the synod system + organization of the church and then have a table for each region with the synods, their bishop, their membership, and the number of congregations. If anybody has any feedback or suggestions that would be greatly appreciated! ThadeusOfNazereth(he/they)Talk to Me! 03:43, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
