Pandora Boxx was also chosen Miss Congeniality via online voting, so she and Nina Flowers should be the same color, so I'm gonna change that.  — AMK1211talk! 03:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

Latrice Royale (2012)

  Resolved

Latrice won Miss Congeniality as well as being chosen for RuPaul's Drag U. She should be the same teal as Pandora Boxx & Nina Flowers. LurganShmith (talk) 20:22, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Marking this as resolved and archiving. ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:24, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Season 11 placements

How do we now the placements of the top 6 queens already as the 6th place elimination is in the next episode which hasn't aired yet. Rupaul's (talk) 16:29, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

They should be restored in alphabeticaly order. Just because the places aren't fixed doesn't mean they haven't been drag race contestants.Naraht (talk) 15:14, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Season 12

  Resolved

I've added the "update needed" tag until season 12 contestants are added. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:00, 23 January 2020 (UTC)

Some formatting is still needed, but the Season 12 names have been added. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:23, 24 January 2020 (UTC)

Real name collumn

Should we just get rid of the real name column? It is a constant BLP violation area and the queens real names are almost never referenced on the show. What does it add to this list?--Found5dollar (talk) 19:44, 30 November 2017 (UTC)

All for eliminating it. It's an extraneous detail as regards the show, and anyone can find out such offscreen biographical details on the drag queens' own Wikipedia pages. --Tenebrae (talk) 17:44, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
If there are no other comments or objections on this by the new year I will delete the column. This is where we find consensus and the few people watching this article seem to agree.--Found5dollar (talk) 17:52, 17 December 2017 (UTC)

Dagger? Key?

I see a dagger is being used for Chi Chi, presumably to note she is deceased. Do we need a key to note the dagger's meaning? ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:26, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

How to sort "International franchises"

Currently, the "International franchises" section is sorted chronological (presumably by series launch date). Curious if editors prefer this or sorting alphabetically by series name? ---Another Believer (Talk) 23:16, 30 August 2022 (UTC)

Update: I've sorted this section alphabetically by title. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:10, 17 October 2022 (UTC)

Season 12, Sherry Pie

At the moment Sherry Pie is incorrectly listed as the Season 12 winner (in fact she was disqualified). I don't have the energy to puzzle out the table formatting or decide where in the list she should be but someone should correct it. Daniel (‽) 12:41, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

@Dbmag9 I've restored a previous version of the article. Hopefully looks correct to you. ---Another Believer (Talk) 13:55, 30 September 2022 (UTC)

Problem with notes (2014)

I've done this before in other articles and it always works, so I don't understand what I'm doing wrong this time; but I added two new notes to the graphs to explain Carmen Carrera's name change and one to the RuPaul's All Stars Drag Race|All-Stars graph to explain why even though Jujubee and Shannel were not on the same team, how they placed both 3rd & 4th as one.

The problem is that I changed the note numbers of preexisting notes to keep the numbers of notes as they appear in the article in order, but now, even though I've changed the numbers in both places to match, when you click the note in the article it directs you to the wrong note in the notes section.

I can tell from the lack of comments on this talk page people must not read this page very often, but if you read this, or just notice the problem yourself, and know how to fix it without removing the needed notes I added all together, please do.

Biographies of living persons violations

We absolutely cannot make personal-life claims about contestants' private lives, including their purported civilian names, without authoritative reliable-source citations. It's a violation of one of Wikipedia's most stringent policies, WP:BLP. That means a credible, published citation for footnoting, and not your or my claim of personal knowledge. Making personal claims about living people without RS citing is a bright-line violation. Note that fan sites, wikia (including IMdb), personal blogs, Reddit pages, etc., are not allowed as reference citations. --Tenebrae (talk) 01:37, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

Kelly Mantle is genderfluid

[1] there should probably be mention of their gender-fluid identity in the top section which lists transgender contestants. Beetlejuicex3 (talk) 15:38, 26 April 2017 (UTC)

References

he or she for Drag Queens that identify as male.

In this article there are at least two cases where a female pronoun is used for a Drag Queen where the Actor identifies as male: Raja (Sutan Amrull) and Mayhem Miller (Dequan Johnson). I think the male pronoun should be used here. Note, I am *not* including Eureka O'Hara who identifies as gender fluid and it is unclear which pronoun David Huggard prefers. If you think this should be moved to the WikiProject, I will do so.Naraht (talk) 18:32, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

Contestants on the most seasons

The Holislay episode was not a season; therefore, it should not count as one as the article suggests. It was one episode to promote Ru's Christmas album and wasn't even a competitive episode since every queen was crowned a winner. 2600:8800:4680:1380:6983:CB81:A35:5677 (talk) 20:43, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

i agree with this assessment and since no one has expressed disagreement here, i’m editing that paragraph Griffindaly (talk) 19:11, 9 July 2022 (UTC)

Fork for RuPaul's Drag Race contestants?

Thoughts on forking out List of RuPaul's Drag Race contestants (focusing specifically on the U.S. series RuPaul's Drag Race)?

I'm on the fence, but this list is getting long, so I'm curious what others think. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:27, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

I think it's best to fork the pages seperately since other reality series, such as Big Brother, have the countries' seperate contestants list. — JuanGLP (talk/contribs) 20:01, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
