Talk:List of Czechs by net worth

Article structure

edit

For English speaking international community it is irrelevant how much a Czech billionaire earns in Czech koruna and also the article is much more clearly arranged. Cruks (talk) 19:11, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please discuss on the talk page of article, not here. --Jklamo (talk) 19:58, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I am waiting to receive a basic answer. Cruks (talk) 21:28, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I disagree with the removal of sourced information made by Cruks. The journalist are just guessing, as Petr Kellner who is listed as No.1 puts it, "even if they assess value of the assets, they do not know much about the liabilities". We might consider converting CZK to USD in the future (e.g. by using exchange rate for the date when the magazine appeared on newsstands), however I would not delete anything (not even the diacritic marks ;-) As journalist Adam Junek wrote on Aktualne.cz in March 2006, even Forbes.com prefered by Cruks might have added Petr Kellner to its list a bit late (Kellnera vystřelila do Forbesu publicita). As I told you, this is the English site and there are all useful informations compact and clear from forbes.com. All Czech billionaires are listed here. When s.o. wants to see the local site then he can feel free to move to the Czech version. Cruks (talk) 16:38, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Crucks Why should we alter blue link "Pavel Tykač" to red link "Pavel Tykac"? JanSuchy (talk) 14:40, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I did not see it and have changed it now. But if you want to do s.th. Radovan Vitek and Karel Komarek are still red. Cruks (talk) 14:45, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

NEW DATA

edit

Hello I would edit these net worth in the FORBES 2020 Column. It's old data and some have changed a lot.

I will be using the forbes real time billionares list. https://www.forbes.com/real-time-billionaires

Please join this conversation, so I know I can change it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnShmith00 (talkcontribs) 18:35, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Because the worth of most people on the list is not based on listed companies, using "real time billionaires list" makes no sense.Jklamo (talk) 00:37, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Didn't realised that, thanks for response. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnShmith00 (talkcontribs) 18:35, 30 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Petr Kellner

edit

Please stop removing Petr Kellner from the list without consensus here. He is listed in all provided references, also note that his wealth does not evaporate at the moment of his death.--Jklamo (talk) 14:19, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia list isn't a "2021 list." It's a more or less live list. Petr Kellner isn't alive, and this event should be noted in the list by his removal. I am once again removing him to mark his death. When other people die, they're either relegated to the bottom of the article (for example a "past richest" section) or completely removed from the article. Going to do the latter until consensus or someone with enough time to do the former. LordParsifal (talk) 20:45, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

No, this is not live list, just a compilation of existing referenced lists. Petr Kellner is on all of these lists, thus belongs to the list at the moment. There is no consensus to remove him. Please stop pushing your POV using reverts.--Jklamo (talk) 22:57, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

"There is no consensus to remove him." - there is nobody interested in this page besides you and me. This is ridiculous. LordParsifal (talk) 23:08, 25 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
