FYI - Wormald edit

Jack Wormald - "who up to last season was a regular member of the forward line" - was transferred to Dewsbury in November 1930. Per The Leeds Mercury, 8 November 1930, p. 9, "A Castleford Transfer". - Sitush (talk) 14:38, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

FYI - England edit

Per The Leeds Mercury, 1 May 1935, p. 9, "England Included In Castleford Party": "There is one surprise in Castleford's choice of their party to journey to London. Of the 15, one is Eric England, a young three-quarter, who a few weeks ago was regarded more as a promising reserve than a probable for the Cup final team. His big chance came in the Easter holiday games, when so many of the seniors were on the injured list, and he filled the left-wing three-quarter position so well that his claims for the Cup side cannot be overlooked." - Sitush (talk) 08:41, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Henshaw * Eccleston edit

William Henshaw and Eccleston were both put on the transfer list at their own request in September 1935, at a price of £50 each - see "Castleford Men On Transfer List". Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer. 13 September 1935. p. 17. - Sitush (talk) 08:51, 21 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
