Merge all into this article?

Except for the most significant characters, none are notable and they will likely fall to AfD. Comments? davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 21:54, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

I follow the following strategy. I tagged almost articles for notability per WP:FICTION. After some weeks/months I prod for deletion all the articles that are less than 5 lines and have insignificant history. All the others I convert them to redirects. I don't tag all the articles altogether to give a chance for people to improve them or express their disagreement. -- Magioladitis (talk) 09:11, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Magioladitis Since you last posted here a lot of character articles have been created or expanded. The example I came upon is Jack Michaelson which is definitely doesn't meet the GNG and I'm confident would fail AfD. Is there a systematic way to deal with all these articles, most of which wouldn't pass AfD? -M.Nelson (talk) 11:46, 15 March 2020 (UTC)

Short TOCs that have nearly all letters work better with all letters

Short tables of contents work best when either: 1) all letters are represented, so someone clicking on a random letter will go to the right place in the alphabet 2) when a lot of letters are missing, so it's abundantly clear that the alphabet is incomplete. I've filled out the alphabet.

Links to character pages

There's not a lot of point in having a list without any web links, so I've turned some of the names into links. Many of these pages already exist; many others are still to be created. I've deliberately chosen only the characters that I remember from my time as a Brookside viewer (1985-1990) plus a few others I know to be significant characters (eg Beth Jordache) - I'll add in new articles for characters as soon as I can. I disagree. Most of the links you re-created are just redirects to the same article. Me and some pother users have delinked them. Moreover, most of the characters are failing notability per WP:FICT. -- Magioladitis (talk) 15:58, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Character pages

In line with other characters on other soaps, I am going to start creating pages of some of the more notable characters (Ron Dixon, Beth Jordache, Mandy Jordache, Trevor Jordache, Bobby Grant, Shiela Grant, Sinbad, Jackie Corkhill, Lindsay Corkhill etc). Mtaylor848 (talk) 18:16, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
