I suggest to remove the erratic notion of why Arastoo Vaziri could have been an interpreter in Iraq since people can expect from editors of Wikipedia that they look up the conjoint history and culture of both Iran and Iraq and learn that Persian is spoken in Iraq too, besides most shi'a insurgents are supporters of Iran Shinichi1977 (talk) 05:23, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

The episode itself leaves it intentionally ambiguous, he's apparently a hallucination, but the ending with him interacting with Bones, seems to be just left in the air.Pyrotics (talk) 21:47, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Anok the mummy

The mummy's name (spelt Anok) is seen on a sign near the end of the episode "A Night at the Bones Museum" (season 5, episode 5). Obviously, it is not all that important, but this means the spelling in the article is incorrect.

Lab assistants

The article suggests that Vincent Nigel-Murray is referred to as "Mr. Nigel-Murray" in a subtle attempt to remind him that he doesn't have a doctorate. I don't think that's accurate, or even provable. Going back even to season one, Zack was referred to as Mr. Addy simply because that's the polite way of referring to him. Fisher is also just called Mr. Fisher for the same reason. It's not an attempt to undermine them, it's simple politeness. They're not going to be called doctors if they're not doctors. In fact, in the first episode Vincent suggests that Booth call him Vinny or Vin, because he recognizes how long and unwieldy his last name is. Hodgins says this to Vincent on his first day at work, but he specifically says that it's Brennan's way of reminding him that he didn't have a doctorate. (Note that even Brennan tended to call Zack by name; only Goodman regularly referred to him as "Mr. Addy" and he outright told Zack it was to remind him that he didn't have a doctorate.) Dedicated sub-category

There are now (by my count) 7 lab assistants since Zack Addy (including Daisy Wick and the late Vincent Nigel-Murray). As of "The Patriot in Purgatory," five appear to be in rotation. Since this has gone beyond "testing the waters" for Addy's replacement and become a running theme/joke within the show, I have separated out the 7 into their own category. I simply moved the already-existing character bios under the new category and added a brief description lede. The intro could use a citation as i have no proof other than memory that the transient nature of the lab assistant was not intended all along. Also, I ordered them alphabetically to save time but it may be more appropriate to order them chronologically by first appearance instead. Crazytonyi (talk) 06:49, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

We don't actually know if Parker has Booth's last name, or that of his mother, Rebecca. Unless someone has a source to cite as to this, I think he should be listed only by his first name. Margaret "recurring"?

I recognize that Zoey Deschanel's guest appearance is a big deal but she's only been in one episode and her character hasn't even been mentioned since. I don't think that counts as recurring, does it? (Unless I missed a mention/appearance?) Kutulu (talk) 03:03, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

Primary vs. secondary characters

It seems really odd that a primary character like Dr. Camille Saroyan has such a brief bio while secondary, recurring characters and characters that just appear in one or two episodes have lengthy explanations of who they are, what cases they were involved in, etc. Can someone "beef" up the information on all of the main characters of this show? 69.125.134.86 (talk) 20:54, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

• Camille Saroyan was recently redirected back to this article after an Articles for deletion discussion. With the eception of Daniel Goodman, who was only in one season, all of the other main characters have their own articles (linked to from each entry), so the entries here don't need expansion. --AussieLegend (✉) 21:42, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

James Aubrey

Contrary to the article, Aubrey is neither "suave" nor "charismatic" - & the two qualities are not in opposition to "competence," despite their contrast to it. Perhaps the writer of the sentence I'm discussing was pie-eyed when writing it.

What is double-ex ?

"only one girl, her double-ex, Roxie knows her real name." This term (double-ex) is not found in a quick Internet search. Should we use nonce (?) words that readers may or may not be able to puzzle out? I guess it means that the two individuals were were a couple, broke up, were a couple again, and broke up again, but I'm not sure. Kdammers (talk) 17:08, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
