Ms. LaBonz

edit

How can Ms. LaBonz be a 2nd grade teacher? She is Louise's teacher and Louise is 4 years younger than Tina who is apparently in 8th grade. Tina is 13 and appropriately in 8th grade. Louise is 9 which would mean she is in 4th grade, not 2nd grade. Ms. LaBonz should be listed as a 4th grade teacher. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.92.198 (talkcontribs)

Tina Belcher HOW COULD YOU ALL HAVE POSSIBLY FORGOTTEN TO MENTION THE TINA GROAN???? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JAliyah81 (talkcontribs) 18:09, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Tina's Full Name

edit

Wouldn't her full name be Christina not just Tina? Because as far as I am aware Tina isn't really a name it's a nickname for the aforementioned Christina. YborCityJohn (talk) 06:38, 10 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

She's a fictional creation...her name is whatever her creator says it is.... PurpleChez (talk) 17:50, 17 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Um, even though when I asked Siri on my mother's laptop "Define Tina" and then the WolfAlpha description talked about the etymology coming from names like Christina and similiar names, Tina can be an independent name! I even learned from there that Nancy, which, by the way, is my mother's first name, was originally a nickname for "Ann" (don't ask me how that makes sense, especially the N being for "Ann") before it became an "indepedent name". And we definitely know her real full name because she's said in some episodes that her middle name is Ruth. Her real first name is Tina, end of story! 2600:1001:A110:C7BF:B7D1:6FE5:C66B:4203 (talk) 20:20, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Is Marschmallow really a Transgender ???

edit

Is this outrageous claim anythere supported in the show ? Most women on the show are voiced by men, so this is certainly not a source. I mean, her birthing hips obviously state that she is supposted to be a woman. She looks actually more female than every women on the show. If I would draw a transvestite, I would give "her" broad shoulders arms and chin, narrow hips, skinny legs, huge breast (easy to change), protuding forehead and chin to look obviously male. Marschmallow has wide hips, thick upper legs, thin arms, narrow shoulders, realistic breasts, and her chin and forehead are sloped backwards. --79.225.115.178 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:03, 29 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

I seem to recall one character, perhaps Marshmallow herself, alluding to her status as a transgender prostitute. I'll delve deeper.... PurpleChez (talk) 20:55, 16 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Uhhhhh, first of all, Marshmallow is male. Second of all, this is not only unsourced tidbit in this article, which is why this article needs to be deleted. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 01:34, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

fancruft

edit

I love Bob's Burgers, and I respect that this article's authors must love it too, but there's nonetheless a good bit of crufty excess here. For instance, the fact that Bob shops at "local farmer's markets and co-op's" and that he is allergic to cats, and that Linda's "passions include singing, dinner theater, porcelain baby figurines, Tom Selleck, nautically themed romance novels, and prenatal yoga." Several of the "recurring characters" aren't really recurring characters - appearing briefly in a background image doesn't make one "recurring". PurpleChez (talk) 20:53, 16 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

This article is the most unsourced article imaginable. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 01:36, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
It's pretty bad. I am a huge fan of adult animated sitcoms. It saddens me how the genre seems to beget so much fanboy nonsense. So much thought and artistic creativity goes into it, but folks latch onto trivial nonsense. PurpleChez (talk) 02:56, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
I question your judgement as to what is "crufty excess" and "trivial nonsense." Ggpur (talk) 21:19, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why...

edit

...does this article exist. I thought that the The Electric Company (2009 TV series) article was bad, but this one is just an affront to Wikipedia. NewkirkPlaza (talk) 01:30, 22 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

...whoa... that article is mind-numbingly bad... but so is this one.... PurpleChez (talk) 02:59, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Family tree

edit

I was going to try to fix the family tree but ended up deleting the entire thing. It was full of hyperlinks that linked to nothing, and frankly looked like vandalism in which someone inserted their buddies' names for a laugh. But maybe I'm wrong... if someone can justify reinstating it, so be it.... PurpleChez (talk) 03:06, 23 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Other recurring characters

edit

I'm not sure this section is titled appropriately. An editor just removed quite a few memorable characters to the series voiced by notable actors simply because up to this date and time they have not appeared in more than 1 episode. I think by removing the word "recurring" and simply titling the section Other characters, it will allow the section to feature characters that are notable to the series and feature famous actors who voice them. Does 2 episodes really constitute a recurrence role in a series of 10 seasons and over 200 episodes? and who is to say that the characters who have been removed due to only having appeared in 1 episode won't occur in an upcoming episode in the future? Split

edit

These main character articles should be spun off onto their own pages. They have been around long enough. I already started doing this. 110.175.100.169 (talk) 09:46, 6 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Bob SR.s nickname in Bob’s section

edit

In the section about Bob, it’s said that his father’s nickname is “Little Bob”, but it’s “Big Bob” in the show. Maciedit (talk) 17:19, 28 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Typo in Reccurring Characters

edit

In the Recurring characters section under Teddy's description, a character is listed as Nat Krinkle. Her name is actually Nat Kinkle, as stated in the subtitles of the episodes, and is shown in the scene where the family mishears her and thinks her name is Nat King Cole. Use of Language

edit

I personally think that Courtney's hair should be described as "pale-blond" instead of "plantinum-blond". Besides, I was originally the one who put Courtney's appearance in with her description of this article, but I was hesitant on saying that shade of blond her hair was at first, to be more appropriate and just say "blond" so I just typed blond! --2600:1001:A110:C7BF:B7D1:6FE5:C66B:4203 (talk) 20:07, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Cyber Bullying

edit

It really hurts my feelings that you call me a sock puppet and that you put up and editing-block on the article! It's bullying me! -sob- I have feelings, too! -tear- --2600:1001:A110:C7BF:B7D1:6FE5:C66B:4203 (talk) 20:09, 3 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
