"Cloning" in Aeon Flux edit

Just as a small note, I'm not sure the words "clone" or "cloning" ought to be used with regard to the episode "A Last Time for Everything." The "clones" are rather described (consistently) as "copies." This might be a small point of contention, but I think it could be important to an understanding of the episode, as the term "cloning" has come to be associated with concepts like DNA, etc., which are not mentioned at all in the series. With that in mind, I made some changes to the episode synopsis accordingly. -geoffr111, 26 September 2006

Agreed. The DVD commentary specifically states that they are not "clones", but merely exact duplicates, and that "clone" would refer to a new being grown organically, while "copies" such as the ones in this episode, retain all personality and memories up to the moment of their creation. The episode synopsis should indeed be re-written. The DVD also goes on to say that even the script referred to them as Aeon 1 and Aeon 2, even though they are exactly the same up to the creation of Aeon 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.208.15.90 (talk) 03:21, 23 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

"Gravity" Notes edit

The "Gravity" notes section reads: "A deleted scene shows the woman Trevor was kissing while Æon was falling slamming a door between her pelvic area repeatedly." - between her pelvic area and what? Or should it read "... into her pelvic area ..."? Philgp (talk) 14:07, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Utopia or Deuteranopia?" synopsis edit

It seems to me like the present synopsis available for this episode is heavily interpretive and subjective. Maybe this isn't the place for that, and a shorter, more objective description is in order. -geoffr111, 26 September 2006

Fair use rationale for Image:Aeon001.jpg edit

Image:Aeon001.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Aeon ticklish? edit

Is Aeon ticklish, cause she doesn't even laugh when he licks her feet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by EveilWeevil (talkcontribs) 21:26, 19 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Purge edit

The synopsis for The Purge is inaccurate: it was the audience that dropped Bambara into the trap door. Æon's lever did nothing, she thought it would drop a huge weight from the ceiling on Bambara's head. Æon hesitated because Trevor was also under the weight. (Like in the beginning of episode when she didn't crush Bambara when she had the chance because it meant crushing the man in the trailer, too.)

Throughout the episode Æon had to wrestle with her conscience: chase Bambara or lose his track helping his victims; kill Bambara or spare the people caught in the way.

The man who was seen assembling the toy was indeed Trevor. (James-X (talk) 21:49, 23 November 2010 (UTC))Reply
