Talk:Lion's Head (Benguet)

Please don't create articles with insufficient references edit

There's was nothing in this article, when I began writing this comment, to establish this attraction as meeting our notability requirements. The local online tourist guides don't do so. It's the responsibility of the article creator to provide sufficient references to actual independent news media or books to show an article's subject meets WP:NOTE.

The refs I've listed below will correct the problem, as they are in mainstream media, and both refer to the attraction as "famous":

Part of the attraction along Kennon Road is the scenic mountain ranges on one side and the waters of the Bued River on another side coupled with the presence of the famous lion’s head at the middle of the zigzag portion of the road.[1]
Baler Ravina (21) pedals past the famous Lion’s Head along Kennon Road and goes on to win the Killer Lap of the Tour of Luzon...[2]

I've added these to the article. I would ask that experienced editors please not create articles without including refs sufficient to establish notability. Doing so usually results in a deletion discussion that just wastes everyone's time.  – OhioStandard (talk) 16:52, 17 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
