Article sounds very fanboyish to me. 87.123.98.89 13:22, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Birth Place, Sorsogon or Nueva Ecija edit

Lino Brocka's birthplace as per 1, 2 and 3 states that Lino was born in Nueva Ecija. His father Regino fell in love with a 15-year-old lass named Pilar on his business trip to Nueva Ecija, who became Lino’s mother, then they moved to Bicol since Pilar's parents object to the relationship.--Wakowako (talk) 07:38, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Infobox removal edit

Ok, there are some articles of different persons, especially in film and theater (e.g. Stanley Kubrick) where as per WP:INFOBOXUSE, "The use of infoboxes is neither required nor prohibited for any article." And i'm proposing to remove it because the information contained in Brocka's infobox is less and not too encylopedic, IMO. I want your feedbacks first before I can set a consensus about this. Thanks. It might not be absolutely necessary, but I don't think there's any reason to remove it. I object to your proposal. Tks, Slightlymad (talkcontribs) 09:21, 31 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Lino Brocka's fair use photo edit

I found a public domain photo of Brocka from the NCCA website which according to their license, "All content is in the public domain unless otherwise stated". I was hesitant to replace the main photo as it depicts Lino Brocka at the prime of his career whereas the NCCA photo was probably taken during his years of study as a young man.
