Edit 11/09/2006: melt point changed from 220-260 C (definately incorrect) to 120-160C. (120-160 is probably wider than actual.) Note that processing temperature and melting temperature -universally very different for thermoplastic materials- would be closer to 220C (though this is also probably a bit high).

"It has good electrical properties"...? it can be used to save food material...??????

The implications of the word "linear" are not explained in the article. Is LLDPE distinguished from LDPE because the chemical structure is linear in some sense, because the mechanical behavior is more highly linear, or for some other reason? --Brockmra (talk) 18:37, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
