"Originally spelt incorrectly?" edit

The article says the suburb was named after Lindisfarne in Northumberland, but also says "the suburb originally took its name from Lindisferne House, (Note: Suburb originally spelt incorrectly), a property built in the 1820s near the suburb of Rosny." Does this note mean the suburb was originally spelt "Lindisferne," like the house (thereby spelling "Lindisfarne" wrong) or that it was originally spelt "Lindisfarne," like the island, thereby spelling the name of the house wrong?
