Lindenhurst Nazis

edit

A good source for the history of Nazis in Lindenhurst is "Wunderlich's Salute: The interrelationship of the German-American Bund, Camp Siegfried, Yaphank, Long Island, and the Young Siegfrieds and their relationship with American and Nazi institutions," by Marvin D. Miller. Most of the material covers Yaphank, but Lindenhurst isn't overlooked in this book either. Just a thought. ----DanTD (talk) 21:03, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Seeing as no one's bothered to actually cite that source, and no other sources have come forward, I'm removing the text until someone does so. 24.46.227.251 (talk) 02:12, 3 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

Request for clarification

edit

It is the 4th largest village in New York State.
Does this mean it is the 4th largest village by land area or by population? My guess is population, but it isn't clear. --JBC3 (talk) 09:02, 16 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

If it refers to population, a better descriptor would be "fourth most populous." Rob T Firefly (talk) 06:18, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, clarified accordingly! --JBC3 (talk) 15:25, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
