Kendal(l) green edit

This is presumably named after the north-western English town of Kendal (only one 'l') and appears to have been misspelled to match the common surname Kendall (much as the official title 'marshal' is frequently misspelled 'marshall').92.111.250.34 (talk) 17:01, 20 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sheriff of Lincoln edit

I don't see the point of the descriptions of what the Sheriff of Lincoln purchased. That whole paragraph seems like a meandering digression based on Robin Hood being dressed in scarlet.--Jack Upland (talk) 07:30, 13 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

I've separated the two into their own paragraphs.--Auric talk 16:11, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, I still don't see the point.--Jack Upland (talk) 23:58, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

"A Link to the Past" in pop culture? edit

As far as pop culture heroes, Lincoln green seems to move from Robin Hood >> Peter Pan >> Link (hero in the "Legend of Zelda" series). I cannot find any definite source that states Peter Pan gets Lincoln green from Robin Hood, but perhaps someone with greater resources than I.... Seraphimek (talk) 10:53, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
