First sentence seems incomplete
editSurely the first sentence should be "Lillian Russell is a 1940 biographical film of the life of the singer and actress Lillian Russell." Or alternatively, "Lillian Russell is a 1940 biographical film of the life of the singer and actress of this name. "There is no reason why a sentence should not start and end with the same two words. It might be obvious to some that the singer and actress is Lillian Russell but it is not a necessarity--also a link to Lillian Russell should be in the lead paragraph somewhere. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.69.192.251 (talk) 13:04, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
