Light heavyweight is a totally different division than heavyweight, but it should be merged with the Light Heavyweight with the capital "H". Maya Levy 06:01, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

It should, yes. Luckily, the two articles are basically the same, so it'll just be a quick copy-paste and done. Lord Bob 16:17, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Old Mongoose edit

The list of longest reigning light heavyweight champions does not include Archie Moore, the longest reigning champion of them all. I don't have time right now to correct the list, so if anyone has a few minutes .... Hopefully, I will find time soon, but if not, others should really update this. All-time greats edit

I am not comfortable with "Two all-time great heavyweight champions, Ezzard Charles and Floyd Patterson". Even Patterson is border-line, despite his long career, considering that he had his championship period at a point of low competition, lost the title against Ingemar Johansson (barely champion material) and was chanceless against Liston. Ezzard Charles, however, is most certainly not an all-time great at heavy-weight (as opposed to overall or as a light-heavy). He hit a weak era and his greatest victories are against over-the-hill versions of Louis and Walcott, who got the better of him in the end.

Or to reverse the situation: If Ezzard is a great at heavy-weight, then so is Michael Spinks and Gene Tunney.
