Lift-Ticket (G.I. Joe)Lift-Ticket — A short reason for page name change. User:75.142.152.104 03:25, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose no reason given for move; this should redirect to some skiing article. 76.66.195.196 (talk) 12:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment this comics related IP user (75.x) with rotation address almost never leaves a reason for moves and should be rejected automatically. 76.66.195.196 (talk) 12:04, 21 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose You didn't create the page about Lift-Ticket. 75.142.152.104 (talk) 20:05, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Lift-Ticket (G.I. Joe)Lift-Ticket — This is the only article with this title, so there's no need to disambiguate. 75.142.152.104 (talk) 03:39, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose it should redirect to a skiing article, which is the primary meaning of lift-ticket, a ticket to get access to a ski lift. 76.66.200.95 (talk) 04:05, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. Assuming it would even be a valid redirect to somewhere, Lift ticket is clearly distinct per WP:PRECISION. PC78 (talk) 07:22, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. To most people a Lift-Ticket without disambigger is a lift ticket is a ticket to use a lift. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 08:21, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
    • Most people wouldn't caplitalise the "t". PC78 (talk) 14:16, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Support. There's no article about ski lift tickets on WP, nor is there likely to be, but if there were, a hatnote would direct people there. Station1 (talk) 11:41, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Support, unnecessary disambiguation. Hatnote to ski lift. Powers T 13:33, 28 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose - there is no article at the moment on a lift ticket, but the phrase is used in many articles[1] so an article could easily exist in the future, especially e.g. with advances in RFID ticketing. I think common sense is that the name space should be reserved for what the phrase normally means. p.s. Disambiguating on the upper/lower case t in "ticket" is asking for confusion in my opinion, and I've had to clean up such a mess once in the past. Adpete (talk) 05:05, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
    • An article may well be written (an it may not), but we don't preemptively disambiguate page titles. And on the issue of capitalisation, can I draw people's attention once more to WP:PRECISION. PC78 (talk) 06:42, 29 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
  • Comment this article should be considered for merging to a List of G.I. Joe characters as is happening with the Transformers characters (merging to lists, or being deleted). 76.66.200.95 (talk) 04:59, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
