{{editsemiprotected}} In the infobox, change the release date of Beautiful Monster from May 25 to June 8. It was released as a Digital Download on June 8, 2010 not May 25. and according to WP:Songs, the date that should be put in infoboxes should be earliest date that the song is available to be purchased, and in this case, its June 8, 2010. Also, remove the date of Champage Life from the infobox because it has not yet been released for purchase

  Done for Beautiful Monster
Not done for Champagne Life, if you have a source, I can change it. CTJF83 pride 20:04, 24 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Redirect

edit

I've removed the redirect and recreated the article. I'm aware that it may not have met the GNG previously, but the second AfD seemed to be leaning towards keep, and a few things have changed since then. The main one is coverage in reliable sources - including articles in Rolling Stone, Essence and The Courier-Mail, along with a full review in contactmusic.com. There are others was well - it seems that Ne-Yo has hit the publicity trail, so meeting the GNG is no longer a problem, and there's enough for decent detail in the article. (I've only added a bit - it could be expanded a lot more from the sources). As to the more specific WP:NALBUMS, while that doesn't specifically preclude articles without track listings, the album has had a listening session for the media, and thus the track list has also emerged, so I've added it to the article. Hopefully WP:NALBUMS should be covered now. - Bilby (talk) 01:35, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Criteria

Let me clarify. According to WP:NALBUMS:

  • Articles and information about albums with confirmed release dates in the near future must be confirmed by reliable sources
  • Separate articles should not be created until there is sufficient reliably sourced information about a future release
  • Wikipedia: TenPoundHammer's Law: If the name and track order of a future album are not yet known, the album is very likely to have its page deleted from Wikipedia.

Whilst I do accept that there is many reliable sources covering the album the quality and depth of the information is minimal. There is not sufficient information and information solely about possible tracks is a violation of WP:CRYSTAL. There would be no harm in merging the information to Ne-Yo until there is enough information specifically about the album itself. --Lil-unique1 (talk) 16:21, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

In this case, the release date is confirmed and the sources are all reliable; there is quite a bit of reliably sourced information so we're good there (and it could be considerably expanded with the material that's now available); and the name and track order have both been confirmed in reliable sources, so that's good too (although Wikipedia:TenPoundHammer's Law is technically just an essay, and only speaks of the likelihood that something will be deleted at AfD, so I'm not sure it is entirely relevant). It is close enough now that the publicity is well underway, so things have changed dramatically since the last AfD. - Bilby (talk) 19:32, 2 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

edit

{{edit semi-protected}} On 'critical response' part, please change the Metacritic score to a correct one, from "an average score of 84, based on 13 reviews" to "an average score of 73, based on 14 reviews". On Metacritic there is no score as high as 84 for this album, so I guess that the score has never been correct in this article.

Done I checked the metacritic page for this album, and it does say an average of 73 with 14 reviews. Thanks! Qwyrxian (talk) 05:20, 2 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
