Proposed merger

I'm against a merger with the KNOR-FM entry. There are several articles out there pertaining to notable guyed masts and large antennae, and since Liberman Broadcasting Era is Texas' tallest structure, it's worthy of a stand-alone article. Thank you. 204.65.82.62 (talk) 20:38, 22 June 2011 (UTC)

Title

The name of the tower really is Liberman Broacasting Tower Era. I'll compromise with a comma after "Tower," but that really is the name. And it's not in Era, so if you're making up your own title, then that is also incorrect. In that case, it should be "The Liberman Broadcasting Tower at Rosston, Texas" (but it's not there, either). (The Gainesville paper cited in the article seems to be using Wikipedia as one of its sources, so that's probably not good enough to source the name.) 121a0012 (talk) 03:31, 23 June 2011 (UTC)

I am the author of the Gainesville Register article. I used FCC registration data and info from a site about skyscrapers and other tall structures, among other sources. I could not have used Wikipedia as the page was practically bare when I found it and added more information to it! BTW, here is the link to the station engineer's Ham radio club page: [1]. His personal pictures of the tower are down for now, but a Spanish Ham radio operator has some up at [2]. NOTE: Both radio operators call it the Rosston repeater, not Era.
