he's listed in elections BC as "Labour" - see British Columbia general election, 1898, for which the source is BC Elections. The article says he was elected on a Liberal-Labour platform, and while he did join the Liberals thereafter that's gonna need a cite; he's listed as Labour; this was before a party system but he declared for one; I believe it was Labour Party of Canada. Not Liberal-Labour Party of Canada; please amend accordingly.Skookum1 (talk) 09:25, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
