editThere is no way he had read it because LI gives several formulas for high nitrate gunpowder (66-75%) while Bacon only gave one for 37% nitrate. There is nothing in the citation I removed [1] that supports the claim Bacon had read, let alone quoted LI. Please provide a relevant quotation from the other source Pan, Jixing. - Interesting that I am not the only one who find the edits of User:Eladynnus dubious and synth at best. Their habit of writing a full article with lots of text based mostly on one source is nothing new I see [2]. Having gone through some of their edits, I have found the same problem where they synth references to substantiate their ridiculous claims. Glad I am not the only one who thinks so.
