editI have added a couple of references and removed some of the section specific cn tags. I will look to find more references before removing the rest of them. PGB158 (talk) 14:07, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
Significant update: June 2021
editJust spotted Halligan has moved to GB News. Prompted me to tackle some of the big issues with this page. Removed blatant puffery. Changed strange formatting throughout. Added additional sources and relevant detail. I think I've tackled most of the issues & problems listed in the template at the top of the page. Wanted to drop a note here to promote a discussion, etc, etc. I'll remove the page warning after a couple of weeks if everyone thinks the latest round of edits covers the issues. ScepticalChymist (talk) 11:30, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
As per one of the requests on this talk page, I've also added an image of Halligan. ScepticalChymist (talk) 09:55, 7 June 2021 (UTC)
As discussed, I have removed the template at the top of the page in line with the new updates. ScepticalChymist (talk) 15:14, 17 June 2021 (UTC)

Dealings in Russia?
editA previous iteration of this article ([1]), that Halligan had clearly contributed to himself, mentioned that he worked alongside "Russian Deputy Economics Minister Sergei Vasilliev and the Russian economist Andrei Illarionov, who later became an advisor to President Vladimir Putin." Are there any reliable sources that can back this up? Or was this a boast Halligan would rather forget? Yellowmellow45 (talk) 14:31, 11 March 2022 (UTC)
