DOB edit

https://www.instagram.com/p/Bbp84kCnaBZ/?igshid=1dvdn9hn0hvpn Indicates that she turned 12 in 2017, which makes her 14 this year. In addition to that, everyone is wishing her a Happy 14th Birthday and she is not correcting them so it is safe to assume she is 14 today. I am getting sick of people changing this without checking the talk page. if the actress herself has confirmed her own age on her instagram, then that is valid proof. I don't care if the wikipedia page for 2007 says that she was born in that year, it is clearly wrong and there is no source confirming that. We have a confirmed source from the actresses own instagram page and that should be enough. RoboBongoCuckooCop (talk) 11:30, January 1 2020 (UTC)
Instagram is not a reliable source. --Rob (talk) 15:17, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
what do you mean it's not a reliable source? I am using the actresses official instagram page! also, her family instagram page has a post celebrating her 13th birthday on 18th November 2018. which proves me right. the evidence is stacking up. what more proof do you need? RoboBongoCuckooCop (talk) 15:39, January 1 2020 (UTC)
How do you know it's official? It's not a verified account. —C.Fred (talk) 17:32, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • There are no independent reliable sources with info on her age/dob. Just Jared Jr. and Daily Mail both contradict Instagram; however, the former is blacklisted, and the latter is an unreliable tabloid per community consensus. —C.Fred (talk) 15:55, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • CFred is right, Instagram is not a reliable source. To demonstrate the folly of original research on Instagram: the Instagram account was created four years ago, at which point the creator had to declare they were at least 13 years old, making them at least 17 years old. Plus, this is an unverified Instagram account, meaning Instagram doesn't even authenticate who's behind it, and of course Instagram doesn't verify any posts on its platform (even for "verified" accounts). Next, even if you obtained definitive proof of a child's age through your original research, we still wouldn't publish it, if a reliable source hasn't already done so. This is especially true of a child, who's privacy we must be respected. Just because a child posts a birthday photo, doesn't mean their birth date is intended for the public domain. Her exact age is unimportant, but it would be good to find a source that could just say she is a "child actor". --Rob (talk) 00:26, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please note, trendcelebsnow.com is also an invalid source. It actually references Wikipedia as a source. There's numerous sites like this that seem to take data in a circular fashion from each other. There doesn't seem to be an human fact checkers. I assume it uses some kind of automated software that picks up information from other web sites, that are also not reliable. --Rob (talk) 02:29, 4 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Birth date edit

Lia's instagram acount confirms she was born on November 18 as she said she turned 16. 118.211.191.83 (talk) 07:04, 19 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I see the post, but I'm skeptical as to whether we can consider that confirmation. After all, she doesn't actually say that her birthday was on that date, so it may have been a few days earlier. InfiniteNexus (talk) 17:11, 20 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
