There is ambiguity as to what the nearest city is. I just left in Billings, Montana due to personal bias, but anyone can change it if they so desire of course.--MONGO 11:22, 11 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

The text says that the trail begins in Pittsburgh, but the map shows it beginning at the Missouri-Illinois border. The NPS website (in External links here) supports the choice of Pittsburgh. JamesMLanetc 00:14, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
