I added a "Citation needed" after the sentence: "Most modern English-language versions are based on a translation of the French text rather than Voltaire's English one". Indeed, the language in which the Letters were actually written is a controversial issue. See here for example (chapter 9).

I fixed a case of vandalism that someone made because they thought that a quote was wrong.
I do not know if the person was right or not, but what they did was a mistake.
