Dis-info
edit- Speight was never a "Pro" football player. He played College football for Morgan State University.
These are three articles in reference to that.

Former College player turned Actor pretty much.
I'm kinda disappointed in the (lack of) information on this page so I think I'm gonna spruce it up a bit.

- Well, two of those articles are the same thing, so, uh...
Anyways, about the "Pro" football thing, I'm finding conflicting information about Speight's actual career. His personal page states that he played a season with them, but an ESPN article contradicts that information stating that he signed but the USFL league died before he got a chance to play.
So, technically he was a player I guess. The info is ambiguous in my opinion, seeing that the claim he "played" is on his personal page (which reads more like a resumé), which is why I view it as skeptical.
40-yard Time of 4.23????
editI'm sorry, "according to Speight" is not a reference citation. I'll go out on a limb and say that 4.23 for a man his size is impossible. 4.3 is considered nearly superhuman. I'm deleting this garbage. KyuzoGator 19:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Acting Career Clean-up
editTerry Tate section re-written to include two citations (there were none previously). Removed a synopsis of the character and commercials from the acting career section (for length) and added a link to the standalone Terry Tate page, where this material (and more) is well covered. Year of birth
editCan this be correct? Did he really join the Baltimore Stars at the age of 9? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.11.16.34 (talk) 00:31, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I was wondering the same thing- it appears to have been edited now but still, he didn't play professionally at 14. His myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/mightyrasta) appears to show his high school graduation as 1981, so I'd think the Baltimore Stars in 1985 is right, but his year of birth is probably in the early-mid 60's- 1962-1964 most likely. - And the info box still is wrong so there's two diff birthdates on one page. TaoPhoenix (talk) 20:15, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
- The Burris article in the Baltimore Sun states he was 44 in February 2007. But does anyone have the month and day? AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:27, 7 October 2015 (UTC)
