Talk:Lester B. Pearson School for the Arts

Latest comment: 4 years ago by GWPeel in topic Early History

Under NOTABLE ALUMNI, the observation is made that Pearson is NOT a performing arts school. The intention or emphasis of the school has never been on performance. It's an arts-enriched curriculum. The school has sometimes been misnamed in publications, for example: our local newspaper the London Free Press. Jamessay (talk) 19:07, 9 June 2009 (UTC)JamessayReply

Notability edit

Not sure that this elementary school with a performance specialism is notable. Tacyarg (talk) 18:39, 5 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Early History edit

A brief early history of the school could be in order. Anyone reading the page might assume the building was built just prior to 1989, when in fact it was built in 1971/1972 and opened in the 1973 School Year as "Lester B. Pearson Senior Public School". Taking in public school students in grades 6,7 and 8 from surrounding public schools (Trafalgar, Aberdeen and Chesley). GWPeel (talk) 10:18, 5 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
