They found time for inane interviews backstage, but not the story of how a 3 times World Champion Triathlete became a BAFTA winning scriptwriter. It is true that the BBC censored both Paterson's speech and Stokell's, but there is nothing worth using in that Facebook post, nor the Facebook page it points to. The Facebook material is full of inaccuracies, for example, she still hasn't retired from elite sport. I happen to be a lifelong pacifist and anti-war activist, and am well aware that the BBC is paranoid about anything "anti-war". The BBC exists to promote the official narrative, so it doesn't surprise me that it would take precautions so as to be able to cut her speech. I've been unable to find a clip of her speech, but I doubt she would have said anything objectionable, even to the warmongers at the BBC. Paterson herself doesn't seem to be bothered by her speech being cut. Quote: “But at the end of the day, I haven’t gotten this far by being negative about little things like that.
