"Kelly's theorem"?

Jorge Stolfi just deprodded this article with a comment that "Kelly's theorem is well known". So what is Kelly's theorem? When I search for that phrase, most of the hits seem to be either typos for Helly's theorem, or references to P. J. Kelly's work on the reconstruction conjecture. And Leroy Kelly has one of the proofs of the Sylvester–Gallai theorem, but it's not called his theorem because he was far from the first to publish a proof. Is there a Kelly's theorem due to Leroy Kelly that is well known? —David Eppstein (talk) 06:36, 2 February 2011 (UTC)

I believe that Kelly (as a worthy student of Blumenthal) has some nice papers in spherical designs and metric embeddings. At least I looked for some paper of his 10 years ago!  Kiefer.Wolfowitz  (Discussion) 23:23, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

He worked in an unpopular but important area of geometry. According to MathRev, Kelly seems to have collaborated with many excellent mathematicians over many decades, whose judgment I would trust.
