There is a naming conflict between Lerdo law and redirects to the related page Miguel Lerdo de Tejada. Both Lerdo Law and Ley Lerdo are redirects to Miguel Lerdo de Tejada. Lerdo law was translated from the es.wiki page Ley Lerdo in 2016. I understand why there would be two articles, but it seems like the redirects should point to Lerdo law. What is the process for moving a redirect? Is this always an admin function? Thanks, Oldsanfelipe (talk) 23:15, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
- Some more info can be found here Wikipedia:Moving a page#Moving redirect pages. - FlightTime (open channel) 23:28, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
- If you just want to change the target page of the redirect, it's a simple edit. An admin is only required to move page A to page B, where page B is a redirect with more than one edit. Ronhjones (Talk) 23:32, 31 August 2018 (UTC)
- I did not move the redirect pages. I changed the targets on the redirects. Sometimes my terminology is wrong. Thanks, Oldsanfelipe (talk) 02:47, 1 September 2018 (UTC)
